Chapter President Aberly Griner and Vice President Selah Rae Johnson represented Bainbridge Middle FFA at the Bainbridge/ Decatur County Chamber of Commerce Agriculture Appreciation Luncheon.

Students in Ms. Rambo's 8th grade science classes put physics into motion — testing potential vs. kinetic energy. They measured how stored energy converts to motion, recorded results, and compared predictions to outcomes. Curious minds + hands-on experiments = big learning!
Thank you Veterans!

Biscuits for the Best at Bainbridge Middle School 🥰
Each month, Decatur County Schools and our friends at SunStop celebrate the incredible educators and staff who make our schools shine through Biscuits for the Best because when you’ve got the best, they deserve the biscuits! 💛
This month’s celebration was held at Bainbridge Middle School, where staff were treated to a warm breakfast and plenty of appreciation. Superintendent Dr. Boyd English, directors from the Central Office, and our friends from SunStop joined in to welcome teachers and ensure they had a sunny day! ☀️ Even Sunny, the SunStop mascot, stopped by to brighten everyone’s morning! 🌞
We’re so thankful for SunStop’s partnership in helping us recognize the amazing BMS team!

Thanks to Sam Hughes of Decatur County Sheriff's Department and Decatur County 4-H for visiting Ms. Rambo’s Extended Learning Time (ELT) class and for leading the bow-and-arrow STEM challenge. His clear lesson on potential and kinetic energy through shooting a bow gave our students a meaningful, hands-on way to connect science with real‑world activity. We are very grateful for your time. Your support means a great deal to our school and community.

BHS Colorguard and Danceline tryouts for the 2026–27 school year are quickly approaching. Get ready to show your rhythm, energy, and team spirit! Packets can be picked up from the BMS and BHS bandrooms.

Bainbridge Middle School Canned Food Drive runs through November 14, 2025. Every ounce counts: help families in our community, earn a chance to score the homeroom victory breakfast, and feel awesome doing it.

Congratulations to the newest members of the 600 lb Club!

Students are discovering adventure with every lesson! 🚀📚✨

Shout out to Bainbridge Middle FFA member Charlie Griffin for his accomplishments at the National Peanut Festival Lamb Show! He placed 2nd in 6th grade showmanship and also 2nd in his division! Way to go, Charlie!

Ms. Rambo's 8th-grade scientists got hands-on and tasty! Students explored pure substances and mixtures by creating and tasting mystery solutions, building heterogeneous candy salads. Her ELT class wrapped up the unit with a review game and a cereal mixture. Science has never been sweeter. #MiddleSchool Science #ScienceIsFun

BMS students were honored for their poster submissions to the The Lions Club International Peace Poster Contest. This year's theme was "Together as One".

UPDATE: The BMS in Bloom website it currently up and running. Orders can be placed now.

The BMS online Bulb fundraiser will officially begin November 3, 2025. In the meantime take a look at what is available. At Bainbridge Middle School, we believe growth happens from the inside out. Through our Flower Power Fundraiser, we’re not just selling flowers, we’re growing a culture of gratitude, connection, and pride. Together, we’re cultivating a community where kindness takes root, appreciation blossoms, and everyone helps Bainbridge Middle grow stronger. Funds raised will be used to reward students for excellence in academics, attendance, and behavior, and showing appreciation for our teachers and staff who make BMS bloom every day.

Life is a Puzzle, Solve it Drug Free! Red Ribbon Week 2025 at BMS will be celebrated October 27-31st.

Join our Let's Talk Milestones Parent Workshop to gain valuable insights about the GA Milestones! Choose from 2 days and 3 convenient times that fit your schedule. Don’t miss this opportunity to support your child's success!

Students in Mrs. Hufstetler’s Extended Learning Class (ELT) are participating in the Algae Academy sponsored by the Algae Foundation and the U.S. Department of Energy to learn about the uses of algae in everyday life and its optimal growing conditions. Students made algae cultures and used secchi sticks to measure the approximate biomass of their cultures. Students will compare their biomass amounts over the next several days.

Mark your calendar for Tuesday, October 28th for the BMS Dairy Queen Fundraising night from 6PM-8PM. We hope to see you there.
