Last week, Bainbridge Middle School was full of Bearcat spirit during the Homecoming Pep Rally! From the drumline and cheerleaders to plenty of purple and gold in the stands, our Bearcats brought the energy! 🐾📣🥁

We were excited to welcome ABAC Professor Tony Matthews to Ms. Rambo's ELT!
After researching ticks and creating models with Play-Doh and Tinkercad 3-D printing, students learned about local ticks and diseases found in Georgia, including Chagas Disease and Lyme Disease. Students learned important scientific concepts such as:

🦟 Vectors
🐭 Reservoirs
🧬 PCR & DNA
✅ Tick prevention and safe removal methods
We love bringing real-world science and career connections into the classroom. We can't wait for Professor Matthew's next visit!
