Councilman Kregg Close visited BMS and spoke to Mr. Stephens and Ms. Shields 8th grade Georgia Studies classes. They had a great discussion on how the City Council makes decisions and how the State and Local Government work together. To ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all fans, please review our Parent/Adult Supervision Policy for upcoming athletic events:

Pre-K – 8th Grade Students: Must be accompanied and supervised by an adult (18+) to enter events. Unaccompanied students will not be admitted.

Grades 9–12 Students: Permitted to attend all events under the supervision of school administrators and game managers.

A fun fact about Mr.Snipes is that he worked in the HVAC industry before beginning his teaching career. BMS Lady Cats got in the win column yesterday with a great showing vs Holy Comforter. The Cats won all 3 sets with a score of 30-28, 25-23 and 25-12!

Density was more than just a formula in Ms. Rambo’s Physical Science class!

Students started by observing density columns and used their observations to discuss why some substances layered above or below others. From there, they completed a CER challenge, graphed their findings, and calculated the density of five different drinks.

Their investigation led to an important question: What caused the differences in mass?

Students used evidence from their data to connect mass, volume, and density and explain how the amount of matter in a given volume affects density.

Observe. Calculate. Graph. Explain. Repeat. That’s science in action!
