Meet Ms. Adrienne Harrison, the proud 2025-2026 Teacher of the Year at BMS, as voted by her peers. Ms. Harrison began her educational journey in Central Florida, starting as a substitute teacher before becoming a reading paraprofessional. In that role, she helped young students develop the essential skills needed to become successful readers. Her experience working closely with children inspired her to pursue certification as a teacher, setting her on a path of dedicated service in education.
After earning her certification, Ms. Harrison taught 2nd and 3rd grades for several years. In 2018, she returned to her hometown and began teaching Social Studies at Hutto Middle School. For the past four years, she has been a committed and passionate Math teacher at BMS. Ms. Harrison’s dedication to her students and colleagues shines through in everything she does, creating a welcoming and supportive classroom environment every day with her warm smile.
Ms. Harrison truly believes teaching is a rewarding profession and takes great pride in her work. She is committed to providing the best education possible and models lifelong learning through her multiple certifications. Alongside her teaching credentials in elementary education, Middle Grades Math, and Social Studies, she holds endorsements in Gifted Education and ESOL, as well as certification in Tier 1 Leadership. Her passion and expertise make her an invaluable part of the BMS community.
