Lights! Cameras! Volcanoes! Earthquakes!
6th graders at Bainbridge Middle School are getting ready for Hollywood-level thrills — with science! Dr. Samantha Wilson from Georgia Tech will show how volcanoes and earthquakes are portrayed in movies and explain the real plate-tectonics science behind these dramatic events as part of the GaTECH Direct to Discovery program and partnership. Making learning Visible--the Bearcat Way!

Tomorrow is the annual BMS Chorus Winter Concert! We hope you'll join us at the BHS Performing Arts Center at 7:00 PM tomorrow, December 4th. Check out this poster made by 6th grade student Maria Cac Cucul!

They successfully traced the energy pathway—beginning with radiant energy from the sun, which is then converted by plants and ultimately stored as chemical potential energy in their bodies (via food).
This stored energy is then converted into kinetic energy (the energy of motion) as they run, pitch, and ultimately transform chemical energy into mechanical energy to powerfully kick the ball! They worked as teams, demonstrating the real-world application of science.

We had such a great time celebrating our Bainbridge Middle School educators during this year’s Grillin’ for the Greatest event! 💜💛
A huge thank you to First National Bank for sponsoring the celebration and for showing up early to grill and serve a delicious meal. Your support means so much to our Bearcat community.
Our Bearcat educators pour their hearts into students every single day, and this event was a special way to say thank you for their dedication, passion, and commitment. We are so grateful for everything they do! 💛🐾💜

Cinderella doesn't seem interested in a Prince since she has so many chores to do. Hopefully your housework can wait for one night to see this magical show!
