Ms. Rambo's 8th-grade scientists got hands-on and tasty! Students explored pure substances and mixtures by creating and tasting mystery solutions, building heterogeneous candy salads. Her ELT class wrapped up the unit with a review game and a cereal mixture. Science has never been sweeter. #MiddleSchool Science #ScienceIsFun

BMS students were honored for their poster submissions to the The Lions Club International Peace Poster Contest. This year's theme was "Together as One".

Students in Mrs. Hufstetler’s Extended Learning Class (ELT) are participating in the Algae Academy sponsored by the Algae Foundation and the U.S. Department of Energy to learn about the uses of algae in everyday life and its optimal growing conditions. Students made algae cultures and used secchi sticks to measure the approximate biomass of their cultures. Students will compare their biomass amounts over the next several days.

This Direct to Discovery session examines the materials and technologies that make space survival possible. Forever In Our Hearts 💚 Dahani Hicks 💚 The Bearcat Family’s Thoughts and Prayers are with the Family of Dahani Hicks as they navigate his passing after his courageous battle with cancer. Dahani’s strength, kindness, and spirit touched so many lives, and his loss leaves a tremendous void in our school community. He will remain Forever in our Hearts 💚

BMS Drama Club is incredibly grateful to the community for their support at our Chick-fil-A Spirit Night last night! Students had a great time serving customers, spending time with each other, and eating some delicious food! Mr. Griffith would like to give a special shoutout to Drama Club sponsor Mrs. Adrienne Harrison for all of her help making sure our students were safe throughout the busy night.

6th Grade students at Bainbridge Middle School are heading to the Red Planet with Dr. James Sowell, Professor Emeritus of Astronomy at Georgia Tech. This Direct to Discovery session explores the challenges and possibilities of human life on Mars, connecting space science to the future of exploration. Ms. Rambo's 8th graders had an adventurous first nine weeks! They explored physical and chemical changes through hands-on activities like making pancakes and waffles and experimenting with Mentos and soda. Students investigated phase changes, gathered and analyzed data, and worked together to identify unknown materials.

Don't forget, tonight is our Chick-fil-A Spirit Night supporting BMS Drama Club from 6-8 PM! Please come enjoy a meal and help this talented group of students raise money for their future productions.

Attendance is up at Bainbridge Middle School, and that’s worth celebrating! 🎉

Students at BMS who achieved perfect attendance during the first nine weeks of school were treated to chips and soda, courtesy of our friends at First Port City Bank.

Being present each day is one of the most important ways students can stay on track and succeed. Regular attendance helps students build strong relationships, keep up with learning, and develop the responsibility and consistency that lead to lifelong success. Every day in class is a new opportunity to learn, grow, and be part of the Bearcat family!
